After certification, many estheticians recognize that confidence is built through repetition, observation, and structured feedback, not solely through theory. Real patients present with layered concerns, varying anatomy, and different tolerance levels. Treatment decisions must adapt in real time, within the flow of a functioning practice. This stage of development is often where providers feel the greatest gap between knowledge and execution.
The Preceptorship Program at Auri Academy is designed to close that gap through a 36-hour apprenticeship experience inside an active med spa. Participants work within real clinical workflows, observing how assessments are performed, treatments are sequenced, and plans are adjusted over time. The ultimate goal is to empower post-certified providers to apply skills safely, confidently, and consistently as they advance within the Esthetician Pathway.
Designed to bridge the gap from novice to intermediate esthetician with 32 hours of shadow and observation time with the ability to assist and discuss cases as appropriate. Followed by 4-hour private 1:1 hands-on training utilizing learned skills and advanced techniques with greater confidence.
Participants must:
Active Licensed Esthetician Certificate
Advanced esthetic techniques
Medical spa workflows and integration
Professional standards and clinic operations
Team training requests are managed through a structured inquiry form to ensure appropriate program matching.
Reinforces assessment-first clinical thinking
Provides sustained exposure to real patient variability
Demonstrates how root causes guide treatment decisions
Supports personalized learning based on observed cases
Improves efficiency by understanding real clinical workflows
Builds confidence through progressive responsibility
Clarifies treatment sequencing and modification
Offers ongoing mentorship and guided feedback
Supports career advancement within the Esthetician Pathway
The program bridges formal training and independent practice by providing sustained exposure to real patients within active workflows.
Participants observe a broad range of treatments, skin types, and patient responses over time.
Confidence develops through guided immersion, repetition, and progressive responsibility.
Observation shows how assessment findings guide real-time decisions, sequencing, and technique selection.
Learn how providers modify depth, placement, or sequencing based on assessment results and tissue response.
The preceptorship provides structured oversight, feedback, and access to experienced guidance.
Limits pattern recognition and confidence
Lacks structured feedback and progression
Makes treatment decisions feel subjective
Reduces preparedness for variability
Leaves providers unsure of next steps
Limited exposure to complication prevention and correction
Infrequent observation of experienced clinical judgment
Minimal reinforcement of assessment-first protocols
This is a structured 36-hour preceptorship with defined observation hours, guided mentorship, and a private hands-on training session focused on real-world application.
The program includes 30 shadowing hours and 6 hours of private, one-on-one hands-on training under experienced supervision.
Auri Academy delivers safety-first education inside a functioning med spa, allowing learners to work within authentic clinical workflows. This environment ensures exposure to real cases, real timelines, and real decision-making processes.
The Academy’s assessment-first approach emphasizes evaluation before intervention. Participants observe how providers individualize care, adjust techniques, and plan treatments over time rather than relying on one-size-fits-all methods.
Beyond training, Auri Academy supports long-term career growth through mentorship and industry networks. The Preceptorship Program represents a critical advancement point within the Esthetician Pathway, reinforcing Auri Academy’s commitment to developing capable providers and stronger practices through a career-long educational framework.
Breaking into aesthetic medicine requires more than technique exposure. It requires structured education, live patient experience, mentorship, and a clear progression.
Whether you are entering the field or advancing your current skill set, Auri Academy provides a pathway built around real practice, real standards, and real growth.

At Auri Academy, Rechelle brings that same real-world standard into the training environment. Students learn not only injection technique, but how to assess patients, think critically, and make sound treatment decisions inside a real aesthetic practice.
Our goal is not just to teach procedures. It is to help providers develop the clinical judgment, confidence, and readiness required to succeed in aesthetic medicine.
